This post is different from most of the ones I write, but for good reason. Instead of sharing a post about motherhood, dangers of plastic, or a cherished cinnamon roll recipe, I wanted a post that had some of my favorite things. There are several brands that I have the privilege of working with. I wanted a place where they were all complied with their pros and cons. I use some of their products all the time. Others I only use when the need arises.
Because I work with these companies, I do get a small commission from every sale through the links provided here on the blog. I do include any discount code that I have to also help you save money whenever possible.
There is no pressure for you to actually click or buy anything that I recommend. However, those things are never lost on us. It really helps our little family and is how I am able to take the time to create recipes and posts. So, thank you so much if you do, and if you do not choose to buy things, that is totally ok too. Thank you so much for being here and sharing Unhurried Homemaker with your friends and family. If you want to learn more about how we use affiliate links, click here.
My standards
Before we dive into the brands, I just want to share a little bit about how I choose some of my “rules” for brands and sharing them.
Sharing
I will not share a product that I would not, and do not use at home myself or with my family. I have turned down several companies who wanted to work with me but had ingredients in their products that I would not want in our home. I will not share things if I have not personally tried them for myself so I can give an honest review about what I think of the product.
In this post I will have products that we know and love. We do not like seed oils, preservatives, food dyes, artificial flavors, and the list goes on. If I am recommending an item, it is because it is made well, and we have used it without it falling apart because of shoddy workmanship. I am very careful about what we let into our home, and I want the same for you!
Crucial Four

This is a company that has so many different whole food supplements. Things that are designed to work with your body, so it works the way it was designed to. I have only personally used their salt and electrolyte mix but have heard great things from friends and family who have used some of their other products.
Salt
Their flake salt is one of my favorite salts to just sprinkle on the things that we eat. I personally love salt and add it to water as well for extra minerals. This salt is rich in so many minerals our bodies need for digestive health, gut function, muscle recovery, mental clarity, and more.
Electrolytes
I think the cherry lime electrolyte powder is good, but it did taste salty. If you are ok with that, then it is a great clean option! I think there used to be more flavors, and there was just the unflavored last time I checked.
Perfect Supplements
ESSENTIAL10 will save you 10% when used at the checkout.
If you buy 3 perfect supplement brand items, you get 20% off. (which stacks with my code)
If you buy 6 perfect supplement brand items, you get 25% off which stacks with my code!
This is one of my favorite brands. We have been loving their products for years and use them just about every day. They are very careful about glyphosate, chemicals, and heavy metals. Each product is tested and cleared. They also do sell products from a few other brands as well! Any item that is from beef is from happy, grass-fed cows in Australia.
Beef Liver
I take this in place of my multivitamin. It is high in folate, copper, zinc, iron, choline, biotin, and many vitamins. It is bioavailable which means our bodies can absorb and use the nutrients instead of disposing of them via urine. Taking beef liver can boost energy and metabolism, improve digestions, aid in maintaining healthy cholesterol, blood sugar, and cardiovascular health.
I have personally noticed more energy, less moodiness, and less intense menstrual cycles when I take it regularly. I take four capsules a day several times a week. My toddlers each take one 3-4 times a week as well. They cannot swallow the capsule but chew it up instead. I cannot do that, but kudos to them! There is a bit of a taste to the capsule, but if I take them with juice, tea, a protein shake, etc. I cannot even tell.
Matchinga (Matcha + Moringa)

I used to not love matcha, but I had bought a container of the matcha & moringa and started taking it daily. The taste really did grow on me and now I enjoy a warm mug of it almost every day during nap times. The taste is more earthy and a slight bit spicy but paired with honey and vanilla I actually don’t enjoy “regular” matcha as much anymore.
The benefits are a boosted metabolism, mood, and mental clarity. It aids in detoxing chemicals and heavy metals and provides calm and focused energy. A serving contains 28mg of caffeine as opposed to the average 100mg that a cup of black coffee has. This means it will provide the energy and focus without the crash and jitters you get from coffee. It also contains all 9 essential amino acids, and is very high in calcium, iron, vitamin B2, antioxidants, and potassium. Moringa can also be good for breastfeeding mothers.
Collagen
Perfect offers three different types of collagen powder: unflavored, chocolate, and elderberry. There are also capsules. The unflavored has a slight flavor but is basically unnoticeable in a cup of tea or hot chocolate. I have even added it into my matcha with great results. I did get the chocolate too and it made for very easy hot cocoa for the kids when mixed into warm milk. It does not clump and I love that it isn’t sweetened with anything.
Collagen is great for skin, hair, and nail health. It can help to balance blood sugar and nourishes your body. It can decrease excess inflammation and regulate hormones when taken consistently.
Beef gelatin
This is not an everyday supplement, but we use it to make homemade gelatin gummies and marshmallows. Both are great ways to get extra nutrients into my kids through a sweet treat.
Gelatin sourced from beef is good for joint and muscle health. It supports gut health and metabolism, and aids in digestion. Because it is nourishing the body with bioavailable nutrients, it also aids in the health of hair, skin, and nails.
MCT oil
This is the oil I will use to bake with, and we add it into drinks for the benefits. This is not part of the daily line up, but we do enjoy it from time to time. It also is great for greasing the pan when making the gelatin gummies.
Bone broth

I have bought this a few times. It is just powdered bone broth. I usually make my own homemade bone broth anytime I cook a whole chicken or have leftover bones. However, I do not always have some made or stored in the freezer. This makes for an easy button to add extra nourishment into soups, stews, pasta, and rice. I did not like it as a sipping broth, but it was great to toss into things.
Best Made Natural Products

The discount code is built into the link or can be used at checkout “UNHURRIED”! Here you go! We see this as an investment into our health!
This company has cell salts and products for different specific issues, as well as overall health.
Cell salts
These have made such an incredible difference to our overall health and vitality. My husband used to get headaches a few times a week, and a migraine at least once a month. Once he started taking them his headaches all but went away and now a migraine is a rare occurrence. We all take them two or three times a day, usually around mealtimes.
Tooth remineralization
Ok, with this I have not personally used this, but my sister has. Her and I both have more sensitive teeth. I cannot bite popsicles or ice cream bars, or anything cold without a decent amount of discomfort in my teeth. She was the same way. After a few weeks of taking this daily she can eat cold things with no issues at all. I will be getting some in our next order and update this post once I have taken them for a few weeks.
Equip Foods
Oh, how I love Equip. I heard about them from an Instagram influencer and looked into them more. Their mission is to have real foods the way nature intended. There is no nonsense when it comes to fillers, artificial sweeteners, dyes, or any of that. They do third party testing for every batch of products they make. They are incredibly generous with sales and giveaways for their customers. I have never worked with another company like them.

Prime protein

My husband is lactose intolerant, and I do not do any plant-based protein powders because I have not found one that does not make me bloat or just taste awful. This is beef based protein with minimal ingredients.
The chocolate and vanilla have both low sugar (sweetened with coconut sugar and monk fruit), and no sugar (sweetened with stevia). Then there is a stevia free option for the cinnamon roll and the chocolate mint flavors. And the others are stevia. The stevia they use is pure and minimally processed and any natural flavors are extractions and nothing artificial. There are no fillers or anything. The chocolate is literally three ingredients! There is also an unflavored that is only beef isolate protein.
We love drinking protein shakes, or cozy drinks made with this protein powder. It is the only protein powder I am comfortable feeding to my kids. I like the salted caramel and cinnamon roll in a cup of warm milk. We like baking with the vanilla and chocolate. We use the mint and chocolate mint for hot chocolates which is my go-to before bed snack when I know my kids have not had enough protein that day.
Protein bars

Sweetened with dates and honey, minimal ingredients, and all whole foods. Berry, peanut butter, or chocolate flavors. Not a chalky flavor or texture, but instead a chewy, almost fudge or nougat texture. We keep a few in our diaper bag or by purse at all times. My kids think they are candy bars, I know they are a healthy snack. I love the peanut butter the best!
Collagen
My husband really liked the vanilla collagen in his morning cup of tea. It had a great vanilla flavor and was very sweet. Personally, it was a bit sweet for my liking, but he liked it. I have not tried the other flavors or the unflavored, but I am sure they are great.
Choose App
This is not a brand that I partner with in the same way as the others. It is an app that has a bunch of brands on it. Some are clean brands, some are ethically made, others are made here in America, and so many other great things. I do get a small commission when someone uses the discount code, but you can too. All that is needed to do so, is get the app, create an account as a shopper, and share the link! Then you will also get credit every time your friends and family buy with your code! Click here to get started!
We have a little wooden food and mixer set from one of the companies from them and the kids enjoy playing with them daily.
